Shayne Tucker earns his second Pro Mega championship while Michael Snyder captures his first Super Truck title
McKENNEY, VA — October 22, 2026 — After a season filled with close finishes, mechanical heartbreak, packed grandstands, and championship battles that went down to the final race, Premier Mega Truck Racing has crowned Shayne Tucker and Michael Snyder its 2026 series champions.
Tucker, driver of 2Wasted, secured the Carbon Shock Technologies Pro Mega Truck Championship, while Snyder and Just Nutz claimed the Clayton Homes Super Truck Championship.
For Tucker, the title is the second of his Premier Mega Truck Racing career. For Snyder, it marks his first series championship after several seasons of chasing the top spot.
TUCKER BECOMES A TWO-TIME PRO MEGA CHAMPION
Shayne Tucker opened the year by putting the rest of the Pro Mega field on notice.
At the season-opening Spring Sling at Dennis Anderson’s Muddy Motorsports Park, Tucker defeated defending champion Tim Desrosiers and Lawless in a final-round battle between two of the division’s best. It was the perfect start, but the road to the championship would be anything but easy.
The Pro Mega points lead changed hands as mechanical issues and a deep field of contenders kept the standings tight. After a difficult outing at Mud Wars, Tucker and the 2Wasted team responded with a victory at the Red Clay Rumble at Southern National Motorsports Park, putting themselves back in control of the championship.
Tucker entered the championship round at Rush Off-Road with Addison Blair and ADDitude close enough to take the title. With no room for error, Tucker delivered when it mattered and finished the season with 108 points—just three ahead of Blair.
Tommy Shingleton and Nervous Wreck rounded out the podium in third with 99 points.
The championship adds another chapter to Tucker’s career and gives the 2Wasted team its second Premier Mega Truck Racing title.
Winning one championship takes speed. Winning a second requires the ability to overcome bad days, respond under pressure and perform when the entire season is on the line. Tucker and his team did exactly that.
SNYDER BREAKS THROUGH IN THE SUPER TRUCK DIVISION
The Clayton Homes Super Truck championship featured its own season-long fight.
Owen Sutton and Wide Open began the year with a victory at Spring Sling, while Wayne Farmer and Lil Shawty finished close behind. One race later at The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway, Michael Snyder answered.
Snyder defeated Sutton in the Mud Mayhem final and used that victory to build momentum. He followed it with another major win at the Red Clay Rumble, taking over the championship lead and putting Just Nutz in position to finish the job.
From that point forward, Snyder and his team focused on consistency. They avoided the kind of costly mistakes that can erase a season’s work and arrived at the championship round at Rush Off-Road prepared to protect the lead.
Snyder completed the season with 129 points, finishing 22 points ahead of Sutton. Chris Cairnes and Gone Broke turned in a strong season to place third with 100 points.
After finishing fourth in the 2025 standings, Snyder’s climb to the championship represents years of work, determination and persistence from everyone behind Just Nutz.
