McKENNEY, VA – The 2026 season for Premier Mega Truck Racing continued in thunderous fashion at The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway as fans packed the facility for a full day of high-horsepower, head-to-head Mega Truck chaos.
With a stacked field of 24 Carbon Shock Technologies Pro Mega Trucks and 11 Clayton Homes Super Trucks, the action was nonstop from the first pair down the track to the final freestyle hit of the night.
Massive launches, razor-close finishes, and wild momentum swings kept fans on their feet all day as some of the best Mega Truck racers in the country battled it out in the mud.
“What a way to continue the season,” said Premier Mega Truck Racing co-owner Joseph Hilton. “The level of competition right now is unbelievable. These racers are leaving everything on the track, and the fans are feeding off that energy. This sport just keeps getting bigger and crazier.”
Co-owner Matthew Underwood added, “The Pit always brings intensity, and this event was no different. The side-by-side racing was unreal, the finals were intense, and the freestyle action was absolutely insane. This is what Premier Mega Truck Racing is all about.”
PRO MEGA TRUCKS DELIVER AN INSTANT CLASSIC
The Carbon Shock Technologies Pro Mega Truck division featured some of the toughest competitors on the East Coast, setting the stage for a championship-caliber final between Addison Blair in ADDitude and Tommy Shingleton in Nervous Wreck.
In one of the most intense battles of the day, Blair put together a near-perfect pass to narrowly edge out Shingleton and secure a huge victory in front of the packed crowd.
SUPER TRUCKS PUT ON A SHOW
The Clayton Homes Super Truck division brought just as much intensity, with 11 trucks going all-in for the win.
When the mud settled, Michael Snyder in Just Nutz outdueled race one winner Owen Sutton in Wide Open in a thrilling final-round showdown that had fans roaring from start to finish.
FREESTYLE SENDS THE CROWD INTO A FRENZY
Just when fans thought the action couldn’t get any wilder, the Hoyles Tire & Axle Freestyle competition took things to another level.
Ethan Underwood in Outkast and Andrew Underwood in Sucker Punch hit the pit together as Team WFO Racing and unleashed an all-out freestyle assault filled with huge air, aggressive lines, pure chaos, and broken parts.
The brothers threw caution to the wind and brought the crowd to its feet, earning the freestyle victory and closing out the event in unforgettable fashion.
