PREMIER MEGA TRUCK RACING KICKS OFF 2026 SEASON WITH ELECTRIFYING SPRING SLING

McKenney, VA – The 2026 season for Premier Mega Truck Racing roared to life in a big way at Dennis Anderson’s Muddy Motorsports Park as Spring Sling delivered a full day of high-flying, head-to-head action in front of a packed and energized crowd.

A stacked field of 24 Carbon Shock Technologies Pro Mega Trucks and 14 Clayton Homes Super Trucks rolled in ready for battle—and they did not disappoint. From the first pass to the final round, the racing was tight, intense, and kept fans on their feet all day long.

“What a way to kick off the season,” said Premier co-owner Joseph Hilton. “Our race at Dennis Anderson’s Muddy Motorsports Park was a huge success. The racers brought everything they had, and the fans brought the energy. That’s what this sport is all about—and we’re just getting started.”

Co-owner Matthew Underwood echoed the excitement: “Dennis’s place never disappoints. From the tight head-to-head racing all the way to the finals, to the high-flying freestyle action—it was pure adrenaline from start to finish.”

PRO MEGA TRUCKS DELIVER A FINAL FOR THE AGES

The Carbon Shock Technologies Pro Mega Truck division featured some of the top competitors on the East Coast, culminating in a championship showdown between Shayne Tucker in 2 Wasted and defending champion Tim Desrosiers in Lawless.

In a near-perfect run, Tucker edged out Desrosiers to claim the first victory of the season.

“It feels great to get a win right out of the gate,” said Tucker. “The competition is always tough, especially going up against someone like Tim. Now we’re heading to one of my home tracks at The Pit, and I’m ready to keep it going.”

SUPER TRUCKS GO DOWN TO THE WIRE

The Clayton Homes Super Truck division was just as intense, with 14 of the region’s best going all-in for the opening race win.

In a thrilling final, Owen Sutton in Wide Open lived up to the name—charging hard to take a close victory over Wayne Farmer in Lil’ Shawty.

“Racing at Dennis Anderson’s was an incredible experience,” said Sutton. “It’s an awesome way to start the season, and I’m looking forward to what’s next.”

FREESTYLE STEALS THE SHOW

As if the racing wasn’t enough, the day closed out with jaw-dropping freestyle action—and it was Jordan Fisher in Mud Mail who brought the crowd to its feet. Throwing down a wild, all-out run filled with big air, aggressive lines, and zero hesitation, Fisher captured the Hoyles Tire & Axle Freestyle win in dominant fashion. It was the perfect exclamation point on an already electric day—proving that when the pressure’s off, the drivers somehow find another gear.
