Jamaica, VA – The Premier Mega Truck Racing Series is set to bring unmatched horsepower and head-to-head chaos to The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 16, as part of the 16th Annual Carter Machinery Mud Mayhem Mud Bog, presented by WhosYourDriver.org.
Fresh off an explosive season opener, Premier rolls into Round 2 of the 2026 championship with momentum building—and the competition tighter than ever. Known for its no time clock, side-by-side racing, the series delivers a format where drivers leave nothing on the table and only one survives each matchup.
“This is what Premier Mega Truck Racing is all about—tight, aggressive, head-to-head competition in front of some of the best fans in motorsports,” said Co-Owner Matthew Underwood. “The Pit is one of the most exciting venues we go to, and the drivers know they have to be at the top of their game to win there.”
Fans can expect a stacked field of Pro Mega Trucks and Super Trucks, featuring many of the top competitors from across the East Coast and beyond, all battling for critical early-season championship points. With rivalries already forming, every pass matters—and every mistake is costly.
While Premier Mega Truck Racing will headline the event, Mud Mayhem will also feature a full slate of competition, including Super Stock, Pro Stock, Modified, and Pro Mod divisions attacking the notoriously tough hill-and-hole mud pit. In addition, Kids Power Wheels racing will give the next generation of drivers a chance to shine.
