RACE STRUCTURE

Side-by-Side. Heads-Up. No Gimmicks — Just Racing.

Premier Mega Truck Racing uses a bracket-style, heads-up format that keeps every round intense.

1. Qualifying or Random Seeding:
Drivers are seeded into a bracket (varies per event). Once the bracket is set, a chip draw is conducted for each round to determine brackets, lanes, and breakout times.

2. Chip Draw (Every Round):
A chip draw is held before each round to set brackets, lane assignments, and breakout times for that round.

3. Side-by-Side Passes:
Two trucks launch at the same time. First to the finish line wins the round… as long as they don’t get penalized.

4. Penalties That Can Change Everything:
Based on the race rules, a driver can lose a round for:

  • Red-lighting

  • Running off course

  • Hitting cones/poles

5. Winners Move Forward, Losers Move to a Redemption Round:
Losers move to an optional redemption round after the first round. Losers from the first round have the option to buy back into the second round.

6. Finals & Victory Lane:
Each class builds toward a final showdown. Winners take home trophies, payouts, and season points.

Course varies by venue.

Event start times vary by venue, but most race days kick off in the morning or afternoon. Gates typically open well before the first on-track action so fans can get settled, explore the pits, and enjoy the atmosphere. We recommend checking the specific event listing for exact start times.

Parking locations vary by venue, but most venues have parking outlines and directions on their website.

Plan to arrive at least 60–90 minutes before race time. This gives you plenty of time to park, grab food or merchandise, explore the pit area, and find great seating before engines fire. If you want the full experience, earlier is always better.

Yes, ear protection is strongly recommended, especially for children. Mega Trucks are loud, powerful machines, and earplugs or earmuffs help ensure everyone enjoys the event comfortably. Many seasoned fans bring them every time.

Absolutely. One of the best parts of the race experience is the access to drivers and teams. Many events offer pit access before or after races, where fans can meet drivers, see the trucks up close, and grab photos or autographs. Availability can vary by event, but fan interaction is a big part of the culture.

Most events are scheduled to run rain or shine, but safety always comes first. Severe weather may cause delays or postponements. Any updates or changes will be communicated through the event venue or official race channels as quickly as possible.

Most race events last 3–4 hours, depending on the number of classes and track conditions. That includes multiple races, intermissions, and special features, making it a full afternoon or evening of action-packed entertainment.

Yes. Official merchandise is typically available at events, including shirts, hats, and other fan gear. Selection can vary by venue and event, so if you see something you like, grab it while you’re there.
